CHINA: the invasion of the US continues to target US universities. Go to any technical conference where students participate. Large groups of students are sent fully paid to attend from China. They present posters and give talks. The objective is to get into grad school and get Ph.D. Then they are tasked to get faculty positions. They marry other Chinese faculty, Party political officers infiltrate the university as students and post-docs to keep tabs on all the Chinese, start families with anchor babies and take a loooong time to finish, getting China money for grants. They get into faculty positions and hire Chinese students to get paid from university budgets. They work into the university hierarchy upward since they are so lucrative bringing in grants from China-US programs. They get in hiring decision process, it snowballs. Entire departments get majority Chinese faculty and students. All the while collecting intel, penetrating laughable university IT networks for intellectual property developed by non-Chinese faculty and students. They work their way into the military industrial complex with students who are "clean" passing security clearance checks. Networks established, espionage ops run. When will US wake up to this infiltration? Imagine during the Cold War if Soviet students and faculty were arriving in such numbers. Ridiculous.
