The Belarussian model Anastasia Waschukevich, convicted of a "sex training course" in Thailand, which claims to have evidence of Russian involvement in the election campaign of US President Donald Trump, has been deported to Russia. Washukewitsch boarded according to government information along with other convicts on Thursday afternoon (local time) a plane to Moscow.
The last remaining convicted in Thailand would leave the country by evening, said the head of the Thai immigration authorities, Surachate Hakparn. It was expected that Washukewitsch and another Belarussian on board would then be sent by Russia to their home country.
Washukevich was convicted on Tuesday with seven co-defendants by a court in the Thai amusement center Pattaya for offering sexual services. However, a three-year prison sentence and a fine were reduced to the time spent in custody since February.
Waschukewitsch had traveled to Thailand after a political scandal with the Russian billionaire Oleg Deripaska. Deripaska was a business partner of Paul Manafort, who headed the election campaign for Donald Trump for some time in 2016. Washukevich, calling herself Nastya Rybka as a call girl, said she wanted to "deliver the missing pieces of the puzzle" connecting Russian politicians, Manafort, Trump himself, and "all the hype about the US election."
So far, however, nothing has been public, which underpins their statements. Critics speak of a PR gag. In court in Thailand was also the Russian "sex coach" Alexander Kirillow. He claims to believe that the group he led in Thailand has been tricked: "I think someone ordered (our arrest) for money," he said Tuesday when he arrived in court.
US President Trump is under pressure to influence Moscow's US election campaign. He has repeatedly denied any cooperation with Russia. The President repeatedly condemned the investigation of special investigator Robert Mueller on this issue as a "witch hunt".
Insider circles of the Thai police report in an interview about the fact that "model" Anastasia Waschukewitsch worked as an escort sex worker and customers of her said, "she has always done it without a condom …!" Whether this corresponds to the truth can not be ascertained by BERLINER TAGESZEITUNG, however, it sounds questionable that a highly regarded indutrial like the Russian entrepreneur Oleg Deripaska would have agreed to a prostitute.
