(I might be guilty of reading too much into Trump's tweet, but here it goes….)
(PB)
Trump tweets: "…somebody please explain to Nancy & her "big donors" that people working on farms (grapes) will have easy access in."
Simplest, most straight-forward interpretation → matches up with his American Farm Bureau speech this past Monday:
"You need people to help you with the farms and I'm not going to rule that out. I'm going to make that easier for them to come in and to work the farms.
This also pairs up with his announcement in May 2018 that he was going to streamline H-2A temporary farm work visas, so that in spite of tougher immigration policies, it will be easier for migrant workers to be employed.
——————————————————————————————————————————
Now, the more abstract interpretation….
‘…easy access in to work farms (grapes)' whose job would be to harvest grapes.’
This eventually led me to the book Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck (1939) which coincidentally happens to be a novel about a mass migration of poor migrant workers driven out of work and away from home during the Great Depression, who found work in CA were they were mistreated, oppressed, exploited, underpaid, overworked, and nearly starved to death (in spite of an abundance of food) by 'big corporate farmers' who were working to benefit only each other.
Grapes of Wrath Chapter 25:
"IN THE SOULS OF THE PEOPLE GRAPES OF WRATH ARE FILLING & GROWING HEAVY, GROWING HEAVY FOR VINTAGE.”
Definition of “grapes of wrath”:
-
An unjust or oppressive situation, action, or policy that may inflame desire for vengeance : an explosive condition.
-
Revolution of people rising against their oppressors
-
Righteous anger
-
Need for punishment and even vengeance in order to serve justice
-
Anger against those who hate God and worship the false god and the antichrist
The title of Steinbech’s book was inspired from a verse found in the Civil War Era “Battle Hymn of the Republic”(1862) aka “Mine Eyes Have Seen The Glory”.
“Battle Hymn of the Republic” verse:
Mine eyes have seen the Glory
Of the coming of the Lord.
He is trampling out the vintage
Where the Grapes of Wrath are stored;
Taken a step further…..
The phrase “Grapes of wrath” is mentioned in the Bible in Revelations 14:19-20 and Isaiah 63.
Isaiah 63: “For the day of vengeance is in mine heart, and the year of my redeemed is come.”
So, in the end maybe this is POTUS signaling to us he's going to open up some cans of whoop-ass on those evil SOBs, strip them of their power & lock them up & HELLO TO GITMO!
We should all send the losers 📩📨postcards 📩📨once a month! 😁🤣😂😭😂🤣😭 Just to let them know we haven’t forgotten about them rotting in Gitmo until the day they draw their last breathe; after-which they’ll be on the express train to 🔥🔥🔥Hell🔥🔥🔥 to meet their master.
Good things come to those who wait. 🍿
GOD. IS. GOOD.
