Posted on butthurt reddit thread toned down for leftist normies

part 1

BREAKING: BuzzFeed News says "we are continuing to report and determine what the special counsel is disputing. We remain confident in the accuracy of our report."

First, what the hell kind of grammar is "we are continuing to report and determine?" It's a split infinitive at best, but when you add the second "to" and re-read the statement it makes little sense. Maybe if one subs in a "to" for the "and" it actually makes sense reading, "we are continuing to report to determine what the special counsel is disputing. We remain…"

Point is that BuzzFeed are hacks. Some of the earlier comments I've seen were saying that Mueller should have refuted or commented on the story last night when it was presented to them, but there is very good reason that they did not and do not in general. If one is running a tight-lipped ship on one of the biggest stories on the planet, one could expect journalists pulling every trick in the book to tip Mueller’s hand just for a scoop if nothing else. It was on BuzzFeed to corroborate the story before presenting it. The notion that Mueller had to comment last night would is preposterous, because they could be bombarded with stories to comment on for the sake of pumping information either for media scoops or opposition/defense research.

Now, if we go back to the grammatically corrected statement I presented, it reads like they are still trying to probe the Special Counsel's probe. The fact remains BuzzFeed got squat because of the SCO's carefully crafted stated shut down response. BF got nothing and will continue to get nothing from "continuing to report."

Here's what I find more interesting. It actually feels like what is called "table talk" in poker where opponents in hand are trying to get opponents to reveal information on their hands. The belligerence of BuzzFeed towards the SCO is possibly quite telling. Maybe BF knows something like a poker playing knowing at least what’s in his had and therefore unlikely in the opponent’s.

Take for instance that we know BuzzFeed was the first to report the Steele Dossier that has been exposed for being uncorroborated and admittedly known to be uncorroborated by the DOJ when they not only used it as the main justification for FISA warrants (and secondarily citing yahoo new's reports subsequent to BF's original publication). It appears in both instances, then and now, BuzzFeed is/was the tip of the spear (or probe). BuzzFeed is political weapon only this time they are on the defensive. Trump's nomination of Barr for AG, who is "good friends" of Mueller was likely not a blunder on Trumps part as some have said like shooting himself in the foot, but rather a sign that all the seemingly crazy right wing conspiracy theories may be right.

part 2

So what does that mean and why would they be probing the SCO now on details about Cohen's supposed testimony? Well, first off, the right wingers have been saying/hoping that the whole Mueller investigation and events leading up to it where a setup to ensnare and investigate the Obama DOJ for the Clinton email/foundation cover up which goes far deeper than where she kept her emails but rather what was on them along with the circling of the wagons to protect her all those potentially implicated but what was in them. Still, that’s not really important here. Just for a thought experiment, assume that bit to be all true, with Rosenstien and Mueller actually working against something completely other than Trump even though they were supposedly going after collusion and obstruction where as of yet still no supporting evidence has been produced outside of speculation and commentary. (Keep in mind it was Rosenstien who recommended Trump fire Mueller.) So, the theory sort of goes that Flynn has always been a loyal American and has given cover to the Mueller investigation, more or less, as exhibited by the fact that he's still not been sentenced and Mueller has been recommending no jail time. So, back to this crazy BuzzFeed article and belligerence to get more out SCO by “continuing to report ‘to’ determine” what the SCO has.

The closest to an actual glove landing on Trump has been this campaign finance with Stormy Daniels, and Cohen at the center of it. However, when you take a step back, no one, on the right or left disagrees on Cohen being a slime ball, but when you really look at it, everything he's done is consistent with someone being out to get Trump. Who set up the nonsense company for the hush money? Who makes random recordings like the one he did where he was arguably trying to get the president to say something incriminating? (Even though he failed, regardless how it was reported) Now, you have Trump pointing to Cohen's father reported by some as is he's threatening Cohen, but what if the Trump is pointing to knowing that Cohen's father was perhaps the leverage those pulling Cohen's strings where using to get him to turn on Trump and set the elaborate campaign finance trap, sort of like accountant's husband in Brewster Millions, an insurance policy.

Think about it…that Mueller raided Cohen's office signals it had nothing to do with the attorney’s client…helloooo, the attorney client privileged didn’t just magically disappear….everything points to Mueller investigating Cohen for setting up Trump, but Cohen wasn’t some overpatriotic lone wolf. So, who’s pulling his strings? Exactly, and that’s who SCO is investigating. Why is Trump so smug? He knows something we don't, maybe a lot that we don't. In fact very few know anything, hence a last ditch effort to "probe the probe." IF, and I mean IF that possibility or something close to that is going on, and some string pullers who know what story Cohen was trying to sell to the SCO's office, (because they of course gave him the story to sell) and Cohen executed his part as best he could, then they could be wondering not only why it didn't stick but how to get it out there in the open, when in fact the SCO's is sitting on it because they know and have evidence to the effect that Cohen's efforts were indeed a setup.

The BuzzFeed story’s sources are both Law Enforcement officials, as if that gives it credence. Guess what, all the high ranking 7th floor FBI/DOJ officials who got the boot, for cause no less, were also Law enforcement officials.

I don't know what's going on but I see many possibilities. It shouldn't be about Trump lovers and haters, or left and right, but rather right and wrong, and there is some serious fuckery afoot. All Americans have been grossly lied to with potentially deadly consequences for bad players, as we are talking about Treason, so it's not that difficult to imagine we are not seeing a little table talk across the poker table with the highest of stakes. Also, it could just be a last ditch desperate effort of Cohen’s handlers to get his failed story out in the public sphere to effect public opinion (or further pervert it).
