The removal and arrest of IIhan A. Omar from the 5th Congressional District in her participation in Fraudulent Marriage with the sole or primary purpose in providing an unlawful U.S Resident Alien Status for her own brother, a British Citizen known as Ahmed Nur Said Elmi.

IIhan Abdullahi Omar is a Somalian Refugee who spent years in a Refugee Camp in Kenya. She immigrated to the United States as a Refugee in 1995.

She became eligible for U.S Citizenship five years after her admission in the U.S territory, and Omar became U.S Citizen in 2000 when she was at the age of 17.

In 2009, IIhan Omar married her own brother Ahmed Nur Said Elmi, and then in 2011 she married her current spouse, Ahmed Hirsi, while married to her own brother. A Muslim-British who wanted the U.S Resident Alien Status.
