Last bread

Just because the opiate deaths aren’t enough for what you would call a crisis?!?! To whom? YOU?

My own family.. a son, step daughter, daughter in law and son in law… opiate addicts. They all managed to quit after years of hell for everyone. We were lucky, I have six friends who weren’t, they all lost kids to opiates overdose in one year. I’m From a fairly affluent neighborhood. People may not be dying fast enough at enough to satisfy YOU but there is a crisis and it has destroyed many may lives in our communities, I don’t know very many people whose lives haven been in turmoil because a family member is addicted.

So sorry but it might be not enough deaths for you to call it a crisis but a crisis it is a FUCK YOU asshole for thinking there’s not enough deaths for you. Even ONEdeath is one too many.

I’m sure there are many deaths of homeless that are unaccounted for that have died from opiate overdoses. People who have never been through the hell of an addicted family member are very lucky but we live in southern state and the drug dealers here get the grade school and jr high kids to start handing out hydrocodone codiene cough syrup and Xanax and oxy to kids and then they stop selling it to the kid once they are addicted and move them to heroin. We parents knew who the dealers were where they lived and the police never did shit. In fact parents were threatened by police to stay out of it and dealers seemed to be protected. School would not address the issue either. So many have suffered just in my city… one friend of mine lost BOTH of her sons to opioid overdose.. but that’s not a crisis to you?

There are alternatives and the chronic pain is caused by the opiates themselves. They fuck up you brains pain receptors and it takes a year to get off of the opiates and once you do the pain goes away. You are arguing for your meds and addiction.

Start looking for other pain therapies
