These are both old school items. One is a chart with hand drawn chart of Military Operating Areas (MOAs) north of Nellis where all the war games happen. If you fly into the "AREA" in the box with red slashes…your career could be over…who knows. I'm sure you can piece together what is there…
The other looks like an overlay that would be placed on a Radar scope, so controllers could tell which areas certain planes were in.
Everything is computerized these days, so again these items are a blast from the past…
