CHRIS, M, OR THE OTHER
The Nerds need tending to!
I've hit a conundrum.
I don't want to sell Q stuff because I'm not doing this for the money.
So what if I set the royalty as low as possible, just to cover taxes incurred from the sale?
That way it's not about me making a profit…
Just about getting more Q out in the wild.
Otherwise, I'd have to figure out where to donate the profit to, and I'm not looking for a tax write off.
Thoughts?
I hate the thought as well, but I really want this stuff to exist so I'm trying to figure out how to be comfy with this.
I'm having a hard time separating the two at this point. I mark up anything that's patriotic AF cuz time and effort with the manipulation and editing…
But that's so I can like… hopefully cover rent one day.
And then there's that.
Part of the reason I'm here is due to leftists destroying my industry and blacklisting me.
We need Patriot Artists doing the do.
And then there's this.
I CAN make Q gear.
Example:
I really want this hat to exist.
If I were to make a profit from it beyond the bare minimum needed to please the government, I'd "have to" (says me) donate the money to Qmap.pub, which I'd be fine with doing, but if folks have money for a hat, they can support Qmap directly.
Technically I guess I could mark up the prices and send the profits to Qmap, but then that's just a whole 'nother layer of to-do.
But this is just one product and the goal is to get people to the website… not fundraise.
Hmmmmm…
So I guess I'll watch the funds and if it approaches a "meaningful amount", I'll shoot it over to qmap to keep that up and running.
Otherwise I'd be splitting up a meaningless amount between organizations I don't know if I can trust.
It's not like I could donate to the Shriner's Hospitals… that's one of the places they MAKE victims.
