Our dominant hemisphere crosses over in our body but our eyes don't. For instance many people who are right handed are left eye dominant. If you don't believe me, with both eyes open and your arm extended fully, place a finger over an object in the distance. Now, close one eye. Did the finger move? If it did the eye you closed is your dominant eye.
