Catholic student who was part of the MAGA hat-wearing crowd claims the Vietnam vet bullied THEM and barged his way into their 'cheer circle' for a publicity stunt - and insists video evidence proves it

A student who was part of a school group accused of taunting an elderly Native American veteran claimed he approached the students for a 'publicity stunt'

Covington Catholic School attend the March for Life rally every year and that because they are all male, they like to get 'hyped up', the student said

In a letter the student said it was veteran Nathan Philips who approached them and 'has a history of claiming racial harassment'

He said the group did not partake in any physical or verbal abuse and did not chant 'build the wall' at the 64-year-old Omaha native

He posted a video of Philips walking towards them and said it is unfair that his friend who came face-to-face with the veteran now faces expulsion from school

The mother of the student standing opposite Philips blamed 'black Muslims' for the confrontation who were 'yelling profanities' at the boys

The student posted a number of videos of a group of protesters shouting obscenities and racist abuse at one of the school's black students

A student who was part of the MAGA-hat wearing crowd who allegedly taunted a Native American veteran at a rally claims the older man made his way into their 'cheer circle' as a publicity stunt.

Nathan Phillips, 64, was singing the American Indian Movement song of unity near Friday's March for Life when he was surrounded by the teens who he claimed were chanting 'build that wall, build that wall'.

Philips said he felt threatened by the teens and that they suddenly swarmed around him as he and other activists were wrapping up the march and preparing to leave the Lincoln Memorial.

The mother of the student seen standing face-to-face with Philips claimed 'black Muslims' had been harassing the group from the private, all-male Covington Catholic High School in Kentucky.

In an email to the news website heavy.com, she wrote: 'Did you hear the names of the people were calling these boys? It was shameful.

'Did you witness the black Muslims yelling profanities and video taping to get something to further your narrative of hatred??

'Did you know that this ‘man’ came up to this one boy and drummed in his face?'

The encounter took place at an anti-abortion March for Life rally in the capital on Friday.

A student from Covington claims it was Philips who approached them and he 'has a history of claiming racial harassment.'

In a letter posted on Twitter by a priest named Fr. Jim Sichko, the unnamed student said that his friend who came face-to-face with Philips as Philips stood singing and beating his drum, now faces expulsion for 'a crime he didn't commit.'

He claimed his school attends the March for Life rally in D.C. every year and they had been asked to meet at the Lincoln Memorial at 5.30pm.

As an all-male school he said the group likes to get 'hyped up'

The student claimed the group did not partake in any physical or verbal abuse and did not chant 'build the wall' or mock anyone, and did not seek to incite violence.

He claimed that after their encounter with Philips, they were then verbally assaulted by four or five protesters who called them 'f*s' and berated one of their black friends for being their friend. Some of the protesters were African-American. 'The truth needs to come out. A great injustice has been done and it is our duty to see that the truth prevails,' the student said.

'Additionally, Mr. Philips has a history of claiming racial harassment. I am by no means disparaging his credibility, but this should be taken note of.

FACEBOOK IS FUCKED

Targeting children and calling them whales( term for high spending gamblers)

This needs to be spread, and memes made about it.

REVEALED: Facebook 'deliberately duped' children into racking up bills into the thousands playing online games - even referring to them as 'whales'

A judge last week ordered Facebook to unseal documents from a 2012 lawsuit

According to Reveal, Facebook employees were worried that children were unwittingly charging in-game purchases to their parents' credit cards

When parents became aware of the charges, they reportedly weren't refunded

Internal correspondence shows two employees discussing their decision not to refund one family's more than $6,000 bill

Facebook has been ordered to unseal a trove of documents related to a 2012 lawsuit against the social media giant in which children, often unwittingly, racked up massive bills on their parents accounts playing games on the site.

The United States District Court on Monday gave Facebook ten days to file unredacted documents in response to a request from Reveal, the news agency of The Center for Investigative Reporting (CIR).

Announcing its victory last week, Reveal wrote: 'A glimpse into the soon-to-be-released records shows Facebook's own employees worried they were bamboozling children who racked up hundreds, and sometimes even thousands, of dollars in game charges.

'And the company failed to provide an effective way for unsuspecting parents to dispute the massive charges, according to internal Facebook records.'

According to the documents, Facebook employees were aware that children were spending money without their parents' knowledge.

The documents allegedly describe widespread confusion of both parents and children over the ongoing charges.

When Facebook employees voiced their concerns, the company reportedly analyzed cases involving Angry Birds, which revealed the average player age was just five years old.

'In nearly all cases the parents knew their child was playing Angry Birds, but didn't think the child would be allowed to buy anything without their password or authorization first,' according to an internal Facebook memo obtained by Reveal.

One Facebook employee emphasized that children could easily be confused by in-app purchases because it 'doesn't necessarily look like real money to a minor'

Even after the issue was brought up, however, the company kept denying refunds, Reveal said.

'In one of the unsealed documents, two Facebook employees deny a refund request from a child whom they refer to as a "whale" – a term coined by the casino industry to describe profligate spenders,' the outlet wrote.

'The child had entered a credit card number to play a game, and in about two weeks racked up thousands of dollars in charges, according to an excerpt of messages between two employees at the social media giant.'

That excerpt is seen below:

Gillian: Would you refund this whale ticket? User is disputing ALL charges…

Michael: What's the users total lifetime spend?

Gillian: It's $6,545 – but card was just added on Sept. 2. They are disputing all of it I believe. That user looks underage as well. Well, maybe not under 13.

Michael: Is the user writing in a parent, or is this user a 13ish year old

Gillian: It's a 13ish yr old. says its 15. looks a bit younger. she* not its. Lol.

Michael: … I wouldn't refund

Gillian: Oh that's fine. cool. agreed. just double checking
