You personally not knowing the "secrets" doesn't mean none of the rest of us know. You have been given the truth repeatedly in many different formats and contexts, but as a group, and apparently you as an individual, have yet to learn how to filter the truth from the untruth.
It's a personal process. Trying to do it as an entire population is… well let's just say it's been tried before in other countries and it didn't work out so great. Corruption and destruction often follows, sooner or later. Every mountain eventually crumbles.
