Life membership gives you the opportunity to vote for the Board.
The NRA has its own internal issues which need addressed in the near future.
I recommend everyone research Adam Kraut. Adam is representative of the type of leadership we need in the NRA. We are trying to get him on the Board ballot for the current election.
You would be amazed at the number of high profile Board members who NEVER attend the meetings. You might say you could get the Cat Scratch Fever and may need to call a Magnum PI. The Board need to have mandatory attendance and true oversight of the organization.
The NRA has some of its own swamp to drain. The NRA has too many Fudds and some of the leadership needs to step down. Some of the leadership are not even 2A believers but are in it for the money.
However, some of this needs to wait until any gun control bills are defeated.
I’ve been watching the whole gun control thing for a long time and ending my rant by saying that the BS of the Left towards the NRA pisses me off but we still need to upgrade the organization for the future. The 2A has nothing to do with hunting, sports, or collecting. It is about Liberty.
