I looked it up

Average pay for a federal worker is $128,000

multiply that by 800,000 employees

takes you into the 100 trillion dollar range per year.

How is that possible? If we have a federal workforce of 2.1 million federal workers, how can we be spending nearly 300 trillion dollars per year on their pay alone?

Even if the average pay was only $50k per person, it still takes us out to over $100 trillion in pay per year.

How? How is this possible that we pay that much in federal workers pay checks per year?

Our entire GDP per year is at roughly $19.5 trillion

https://countryeconomy.com/gdp/usa

So where do we get the money to pay for this if our debt is only $21 trillion?

Our total tax intake per year is $3.4 Trillion

How the fuck do we have a deficit of nearly $100 Trillion dollars per year?

And that is just federal employee pay! Nothing else, so where does the money come from?

I don’t know, and i have no idea how you could prove it without tax records to back it up.

My ultimate question is, where does congress develop their budgets and based upon what balance sheet?

Total expenditures based purely upon pay and without any monies given to organizations, funds, grants, agencies, nothing else, just federal pay alone leaves a budget deficit over over $100 Trillion dollars.

Where is this additional income coming from?

>averages in this system don’t work

Well if i had an exact chart of the number of people at every pay tier, and the pay at each tier, i could get an exact number.

But i don’t have that.

By lowballing that every employee was at the lowest tier of pay at ~$30k still takes you to $630 Billion per year.

That number is more reasonable but the real number is somewhere between $300 Trillion and $630 Billion.

UPON FURTHER REVISION

My math was off, thanks to you anons who double checked my math.

>sigh

800000 x 128000 = 102400000000

2100000 x 128000 = 268800000000

So $268.8 Billion per year is paid to federal workers (an average)

$102.4 Billion goes to these furloughed workers per year

The furloughed workers have saved us an average 8.5 billion in one month.
