The Border Crisis is Not Manufactured, Some Children Are Rented To Bypass Laws

Carter At The Border

This is exactly what Carter did. At the end of 2018, Carter followed the second migrant caravan in Guatemala, where she found roughly 1,500 men and less than 200 women and children.

Embedded in that caravan were several group leaders who led an orchestrated effort to overwhelm officials at the Guatemalan border. Carter told Gorka that Guatemalan officials had to remove seven children from the group because they were with people who were not their parents.

More recently, Carter took her reporting to Mcallen, TX where she encountered two Bangladeshi men illegally crossing the border.

The men are considered “Special Interest Aliens” because they come from countries tied to terrorism, DHS officials said. They contend the extension of the border wall in particular areas will help law enforcement better manage resources.

THE BORDER WALL WILL NOT ONLY SAVE AMERICAN LIVES BUT WILL ALSO SAVE THE LIVES OF MANY ATTEMPTING TO ENTER THE U.S. ILLEGALLY.

In one case, a child was used as a prop by multiple illegal aliens attempting to cross the border, Border Patrol agents and ICE officers said. Eventually, it was discovered the mother of this child had been renting the child out for per $400 per crossing.

“They had noticed that there was one child in particular in the same area of the Rio Grande Valley that had been returned to Mexico and then showed up with another family,” Carter said.

The border wall will not only save American lives but will also save the lives of many attempting to enter the U.S. illegally.

Senators Introduce Bill to Bar Lawmakers From Delaying Government Funding

WASHINGTON—As part of an effort to fix the nation’s ineffective budget process and prevent government shutdowns, three Republican senators introduced a bill last week that would prohibit lawmakers from leaving Washington if they fail to pass a budget on time.

Sens. Joni Ernst (R-Iowa), James Lankford (R-Okla.), and David Perdue (R-Ga.) introduced on Jan. 17 the “No Budget, No Recess Act” to help responsibly fund the federal government on time. The legislation encourages lawmakers to approve a budget resolution by the deadline of April 15 and all the appropriations bills by Aug. 1.

“Enough is enough,” Perdue said.

“Washington’s broken funding process has created a dysfunctional cycle of continuing resolutions, last-minute spending deals, and government shutdowns,” he said in a statement.

“It’s time to create a politically neutral platform to fund the government on time every year, including real consequences for members of Congress if they don’t get the entire job done. We should not go home until we have completed our work.”

The bill proposes three changes to the current system. It prevents lawmakers from expending funds for official travel if they fail to meet the set deadlines for federal funding.

“The proposal that we offer today would keep Congress in town until the budget is finally resolved,” Sen. Lankford said in a statement. “During a government shutdown, Congress and the White House should experience pain, not the American people.”
