No. Actually that's a valid point. If the Earth were flat somebody would have found the Edge by now. You really need to take at least some high school science, geometry and physics courses.
The Bible doesn't teach in a hell of everlasting torment actually. That's something that Christianity made up to make people afraid so they would give them all their money.
Sorry I must have stumbled upon the kindergarten level education only Chan board.
I teach the bible. The choice people are givin is life or death. God told Adam and Eve if they disobeyed him they would die. Not that they would be tormented forever.
Plus God has perfect Justice, how do you square Everlasting torment for the crime of maybe 80 years of being bad?
Not to mention if everyone went to heaven or hell after they died what the hell is the resurrection for?
"For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing at all, nor do they have any more reward, because all memory of them is forgotten. Also, their love and their hate and their jealousy have already perished, and they no longer have any share in what is done under the sun."
Ecclesiastes 9: 5,6
You feel that way because you've never been taught the truth. The reason why things are the way they are.
Exactly in Revelation the Lake of Fire is explained as meaning permanent or the second death. Not eternal torment.
The Bible says clearly that the Earth is in the power of the wicked one not God. The reason things suck is because Satan made in the accusation that humans did not need God to rule that they could rule themselves. He insinuated God was holding something good back from people. So to settle the issue he is allowing time to pass. Once this court case is over the Bible says he's going to reset everything and the issue will never ever again has to be brought up.
Isaiah 40:22 - no. It doesnt.
"There is One who dwells above the circle of the earth,And its inhabitants are like grasshoppers. He is stretching out the heavens like a fine gauze, And he spreads them out like a tent to dwell in."
How did the bible writers know this when they had never been to space?
"He stretches out the northern sky over empty space, Suspending the earth upon nothing"
Job 26:7
Knows what?
God is allowing time to pass to prove or disprove Satan's claim that humans can rule themselves. If the first humans had not falling for the lie and disobeyed none of this would have happened.
You do not understand numbers or symbolism in The Bible apparently. None of this means the Earth is flat.
So basically here you are also believing that a tree could reach to the heavens and that there are four winds. Do you also believe that?
It's not literal.
You speak the truth.
Right. Unless they may question Q, then you not only abndon them, you turn on them.
