I think you are on to something. I found this article very interesting. Especially the part about two different clock, one for outside laborers and one for inside. Also mentions winding the clock with markers. The markers were the days of the week. The first marker was Sunday. Interesting that the day the clock started (12/7/17) was a Sunday.

Agree. There are a number of interesting Things lining up with 1/24/19. It is 5-steps ahead of 1/19 (remember this day), it lines up with Christmas 1/25/18 and JKF Jr’s birthday. There are a number of Q drops on the line as well, #14 is big.
