OK, challenge accepted.

Trace Owls and Y-heads around the world.

Let's start by looking at traditional warriors from Asia.

Pic 1: Japanese Samurai helmets invariably feature prominent antlers or dual projections on the helmet.

Pic 2: Indonesian island of Timor, traditional warrior headgear features two points.

Pic 3: King Tomgmyong of ancient Korea, headgear features two points. Likewise the warriors behind him have two little projections like horse's ears.

Other than these, traditional east Asian warriors' helmets typically do NOT feature antlers or Y-heads. China, India, Thailand, no Y-heads on traditional warrior costumes.

Pic 4: traditional Mongol warrior costumes, no Y-heads.

I'll follow this path and look at other countries.
