"Expand your thinking" is the most wonderfully arrogant phrase. It's a very eloquent way of calling someone an idiot.
The only rule most Satanists have is "do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law". They don't have to tell you anything. The fact that you think they do is comical. They put it right in your face because they think you're too stupid to figure it out. They find that funny.
