Image you were a 2D creature living in 2D space. What would the surface of a globe be to you? You can move in any direction in a straight line and always get back to where you started. And there would be no single "center" of this plane. No point to special. Now imagine that in 3D.

We don't actually know that space in spherical. As far as cosmologist can see there is no curvature. Whether the universe is truly infinite or whether it wraps around eventually is still an open question. But the above analogy is an easy way to understand how there can be no center of the universe.

As for the universe be cyclical, it isn't. That's a Buddhist thing.
