What counts as the [30] day interval?
Might the number 4 carry significance in this instance?
4th February would be end of 30 work week days (excluding MLK Day)?

Yeh, business days, regular work days, excluding MLK Day and weekends.
What's habbening on 4th Feb?
Shutdown started midnight 21-DEC, or morning of 24-DEC as first work day.
Which would mean the straight 30-day count would end midnight 24-JAN or morning of 25-JAN (which is a Friday).
If the interval is working days (minus MLK Day), then, shutdown would end midnight 1-FEB or morning of 4-FEB (which is a Monday).
Interdasting that it [30] would take us to the 4th of Feb in both ways of counting the interval?
Anons, I'm playing catch-up on the following two points.
POTUS to adjourn (or convene) Congress as a matter of national emergency,
which would allow him to put all of his current backlog of nominations in place without any approval process.
Wouldn't the whips of both Dems and Repubs understand these two points or is there some question about application under current circumstances?
