The Bible says - Dark Water. Space is not infinite. The firmament divides our "space" from the dark water.
All in first chapter of Genesis. Was all dark water in the beginning. Nothing else.

Well, in II Chronicles, it talks about the "third heaven", which I think means that one is our atmosphere, then a space area for "paradise" (the souls {bodies still in ground} that do not know each other until Jesus' return - ) , and the third heaven is where God (Sun), Jesus (Moon), and angels (stars) reside.
God says He is the Alpha and Omega. It does make one curious where God came from?
I agree. Sometimes, I just go back and read the red text Matt, Mark, Luke, John. It's timeless. Something new every time.
