this. no more fucking with the economy via the outpout levels from opec. added bonus is that the price of oil translates directly into the bottom line of the middle class in the US via gas prices and has an indirect and longer term price impact on all goods and services (almost like QE for the not so wealthy).
one wonders why the FED needs interest rate rises. wouldnt keeping oil prices low tend to combat inflation?
