Weed has too many benefits for me to accept any negativity toward it that has been fed to people over history. It's a plant. Untouched by big pharma or altered with poisons, so they hate it.
Weed actually motivates me. I suffer from depression. Weed has an opposite effect on me that even my therapist finds puzzling. To your point, if weed left me unmotivated, I'd quit. But I'm a loner and a home body, it's not interfering with much kek. I go to work, I get my oil changed, I do all the daily mundane tasks expected of someone. And I oddly enjoy it more and have more energy doing them stoned.
