This Q post has been nagging at me:

 

"First time in more than 25 years?"

I'm assuming a tone of incredulity. But she sure seems to be a tough fighter and certainly takes her job as Justice seriously. I just keep wondering if there is some vote she had to have missed. Here's a timeline beginning if anyone wants to pursue it.

 

8/10/93 -sworn in by Pres. BC after 96-3 confirmation vote.

9/1999-Colon Cancer surgery

10/1999-6/2000 undergoes Chemo treatments

2/5-13/2009 -Surgery & hospitalization for Pancreatic Cancer

3/2009 -begins chemo treatments

Worked last day of 2010 term, which was the day after her husband Martin's death

11/26/2014 Surgery for stent in heart

11/8/2018 hospitalized for a fall

11/9/2018 released from hospital

12/21/2018 cancerous nodules removed from left lung
