John wrote about the 7 trumpets about 30 years after Paul was executed by Rome. Paul was not referring to the same trumpets as John; Paul was not taken to the future to see what is happening as John was.
The "last trumpet" for Paul is the last thing believers on earth will hear. Paul is writing for the Church, and reassuring new Christians that they did not miss the Rapture.

The 7 year peace treaty is a limit on the length of the peace treaty, not a description of peace, or an actual event. The duration of the treaty is 7 years. It is violated by the antichrist, one of the signers, mid-way through.
