I don't get the impression AOC is smart. Her comment about the world ending in 12 years was profoundly stupid – does that mean it was a joke?

 

She made correct statements about a graduated income tax, because she was an econ major and that's the one thing the probably knows about. She is able to rehearse that enough in her head that she can make a few correct statements about it in a row. But she shows no ability to react competently to new situations in real time.

 

She has done a lot of destruction to the Dem party, and somehow they put her on the investigations committee, where she'll just be a distraction. Still, I don't get a bright vibe from her. I never heard she was particularly bright in Yorktown high school from fellow-student comments.

How is she street smart, what do you mean? She grew up on the "mean streets" of semi-rural northern Westchester County NY.

 

She did (maybe with advice) run a successful primary campaign in a re-gerrymandered district that now had more brown people, to oust a white male. But has she ever answered an unexpected question competently or done a clever thing off the cuff?

 

Why do you think she's not just stupid? Show me one thing that goes against that hypothesis.

You impute an anger to me that simply isn't there. I am not emotionally wrapped up in AOC, nor in this discussion. I simply think she's stupid and got where she is because she's energetic and ambitious as all hell, she's brown, she's female at a time when that's a big benefit, and she plays up her physical attributes well.

 

I don't know what the appeal is to "reddit and ghetto niggers" but maybe she has it, for all I know.

 

I am just a pedantic logical guy.
