US DOL sues Oracle for discrimination in employment practices'

Could be any tech company but they went after Oracle, first. Interesting since Oracle seemed to be playing the middle ground with the Trump administration.

SAN FRANCISCO – The U.S. Department of Labor has filed a lawsuit against Oracle America, Inc. alleging the leading technology company has a systemic practice of paying Caucasian male workers more than their counterparts in the same job title, which led to pay discrimination against female, African American and Asian employees. The suit also challenges Oracle’s systemic practice of favoring Asian workers in its recruiting and hiring practices for product development and other technical roles, which resulted in hiring discrimination against non-Asian applicants.

Soros makes his appearance at Davos 2019 bashing bitcoin and propping blockchain.

Legendary investor George Soros (Trades, Portfolio) joined a chorus of well-known investors calling bitcoin a bubble this week, making his remarks in a speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland Thursday.

“Cryptocurrency is a misnomer and is a typical bubble, which is always based on some kind of misunderstanding,” the financier and founder of the $26 billion Soros Fund Management said.

Wall funding and construction is ongoing but the costs are astronomical. $1.375B (billion) was appropriated in fiscal 2018 for ongoing work. This will build 80 miles of various constructions (pic relayed). That works out to $3,255 PER FOOT!

POTUS wants another $5B, or so, for FY2019. At the above rate that would fund another 290 miles. I want to believe that POTUS is a construction miracle worker but a better description of this part of The Plan would help to relieve this anon's doubts about wasteful government spending.

Understood. New or upgraded roads might be needed in places, etc, etc. Just not understanding how another $5B is going to complete the project. Seems like another "smokem out" tactic at this point. Rinse, repeat.
