Nope and there have never been any "divisionary" tactics by me. It's just an option to hybridization and just as plausible as anything else. Eugenics has been going on for a very long time already. Your environment and foods have been altering you, by design, for many years. Stresses, however caused, can result in genetic changes. Evolution at work, it is.
Some folks play the really long game, ya know? AI melding with humans has some stupid high potential including equally bad potential but it can be very alluring to bypass the weight of problem solving and move on to creation, if you're willing to give over to it, if we're even given that option.
It all seems like a violation of natural law, at which we constantly fuck up due to that short sightedness but is it really? I would think that if it results in or nearly the elimination of the heart and gut then, yea…fucked up, again, most likely. China has always been short sighted and selfish in intent but what if those behind their attempt at it were not? Like I said, stupid high potential. Consciousness is most definitely a "battery" source for that level of AI but it worries me that that it'll lose it's "soul" where the heart and gut have always had their say when allowed.
And there really is no complete freedom. Even the solitary, wiggly eater in the woods is still at the mercy of the weather dictating his daily moves. Freedom of choice is all you really have but you still have consequences, no matter the choice. Cause and effect happens, always but what if you weren't concerned with that, anymore and could see through AI the best path being something just short of God or whatever that may be? Would you give up your physical self and possibly your humanity to go there?
Eugenics has always happened on this planet. Lots of evidence for it just in the many sub species of us here, already, that is obviously not and evolutionary result, with some having a short lineage to trace compared to others but that's all old school works and it seems logical to go the next step with AI for some.
Modifying people has always happened, usually with some laborious production needs behind it but I'm not sure I would wanna wind up as a bio engineered "little gray" just to know more by starting out as a mind/AI meld experiment. Because it can happen, you know some are gonna do it. Every…damn…time.
I just hope people can still have a choice in it, if it comes. Destiny should be a choice but we may not have that then.
It's this line of thought that keeps me highly suspicious of the whole Q pysop. None of us really know, yet but I'd bet my dangles that it's DARPA sponsored and the true intent is not what people think it is but it would be a great way to further AI learning and possible recruitment.
IDK…yet. Hopefully, my gut continues to do what it was designed for.
