As with most speculation that gets brought up simply to smear certain subjects or people, nobody really even pays attention to the answer, because it is much more fun to throw out a divisive "question" than it is to hear an actual answer. Try to tell them that there are some churches that care about and help people, some pastors who will stay by your bedside all night in the hospital, or leave their family to visit you in Jail on Christmas Eve…

The majority are just exactly like the 'enemies' they claim to oppose.
They rejoice to hear any bad news about anyone perceived to be "religious." It's disgusting, really- (and if you really want to know why America is where it's at morally- There is your answer. A much higher proportion of us rejoices in tearing down decency, while hypocritically pretending to be virtuously 'offended' by the ever-declining morality of the population in general.)
