>>4890841 Bolivia, Nicaragua & Cuba should be next. And Obrador should watch himself. Bottom line: the time for cleaning house in the Americas has finally arrived. The insanity has gone on for far too long. Let the dime drop on Maduro, Ortega, Morales & the spawn of Fidel. They think Uncle Sam has given them trouble before? Wait until they see us fighting for our lives…..and we ARE.

IDEA FOR A MAGA BUSINESS

Just learned that plastic collected by U.S. recyclers was once sent to China, but around December 2017 China stopped accepting foreign waste.

Locally, a recycling business that took plastic went out of business. Some phone calls to the local (rural) trash disposal company and I learned that there are few or no businesses within a gigantic radius that handle plastics. Evidently it took some time for China's termination of waste recycling to back up in the US.

So a MAGA business? Plastic recycling.

It's needed, and perhaps it could be profitable. I don't know the details of what's involved sorting and macerating the plastics and returning them to production facilities for reuse as plastic feedstock. We do need these kinds of businesses in the United States.

Somebody in the U.S. will have to figure out how to recycle plastic economically, or Americans will have to learn to consume a lot less of it. Maybe this will cause the price of plastic to go up, but maybe that would be a good thing.

I'm all in favor of economic things happening that create a level playing field and encourage grow local, buy local, recycle local, to balance out the economy without artificial taxes, tariffs, incentives, etc. distorting the supply and demand.

It is insane to ship America's plastics halfway around the world. We ought to have a way to recycle them here.

Yes, plastic-eating bacteria is one idea.

There's quite a bit of chemistry and biology involved, but maybe there are some researchers working on it.

Maybe the hemp farming economy will come with some new ideas for disposable packaging and its recycling.
