Really? So what choice did the USSS have at that point?
They were provided actionable intelligence from a different intelligence group which meant that many individuals had knowledge at that point in time. If the USSS did nothing at that point, they would know they were burned and the other intelligence agency would stop the attacker. So they were going to risk life, career, and reputation to accomplish nothing? Really?
