So I just read the Stone indictment. Stone's fucked. What an idiot. Stone's right that the whole investigation is premised on the idea that Wikileaks got the Podesta emails from Russia, which hasn't been proven. Ok, but why did he lie so brazenly about sending texts and emails to his go-between? In the beginning, the only people Stone lied to was his audience when he claimed he was talking DIRECTLY to Assange. But him lying to congress about these trivial matters? So what if his friend gave him a heads up that emails were coming and that Stone requested certain email.. nothing wrong with that… so why the fuck would he lie about it? Idiot.
