The RCMP have arrested two people in Kingston in relation to a major national security probe that’s been ongoing since Christmas, sources say.

RCMP to speak on National Security investigation that lead to arrests in Ontario

The RCMP will hold a news conference Friday afternoon, to provide details about an early morning raid Thursday on two Kingston Ontario homes that is said to be part of a country wide security investigation.

Public Safety Minister Ralph Goodale, said on Friday that there is no immanent threat to anyone, adding that Canada’s “threat level” remains medium, where it has stood since late October 2014.
