In the eyes of most voters… they are guys who are/were on Trumps team who got arrested for being lying criminals.
Even if the arrests/convictions have nothing to do with collusion, it still looks very bad to people who only see the msm news.
2020 is going to be a loss.
Trump has done a lot of good stuff.
Ending wars.
Tax/regulation cuts.
etc…
BUT… if he is accomplishing those things while being on a (perceived) team of lying criminals, then many supporters may not vote him in again because morals.
