The World's First Cannabis Vending Machine Has Gone Live

For those who’ve participated in the market for recreational and medical cannabis, it hasn’t always been easy to purchase products.

Whether it’s on the street or at a legal dispensary, there’s been a risk of falling afoul of the law, dealing with inconsistent or disappearing suppliers, having to travel far to reach the closest dispensary, or spending excessive time in line or in a waiting room before finding your product. Have you or your friends ever wondered what it would be like to buy a disposable vape or a blunt as easily as you would buy a bottle of water from an office building vending machine?

Well now, a Southern California company has pioneered a new and innovative way of acquiring your buds, edibles, extracts, CBD products and accessories.

‘It's none of our business!’ Ron Paul denounces American ‘hypocrisy’ in backing Venezuelan coup

Supporting a coup in Venezuela in the name of promoting democracy is rather ironic, former Congressman Ron Paul told RT, pointing out the glaring hypocrisy of enforcing “American values” at gunpoint.

“Where do we get the moral authority to be the decider?” the Ron Paul Institute founder asked. “I think it’s rather ironic for our government to say they want to take care of Venezuela… by having a coup and threatening them with military violence because they’re not democratic enough!”

American intervention in Venezuela’s affairs is not only hypocritical, but “unwise, very dangerous, it will be costly, it’s against our rules, and if they pretend that we have to go in because we want to spread American values, those aren’t my values!” Paul exclaimed, pointing out that the US criticizes other countries for alleged ‘meddling’ but “when we do it, it’s right and proper and almost holy.”

Warning that Maduro will not roll over and relinquish power without a fight – and that the other Western countries lining up behind self-appointed President Juan Guaidó are probably only doing so to avoid economic retaliation from Washington – Paul lamented the Trump administration’s inability to learn from history.

“Have a look at US foreign policy of the last 10 years!” Paul implored, begging the US to at least learn from the lessons of the ‘war on terror’.

There’s nothing like foreign occupation that unifies the people.

“I’m sure there’s some harm done by Maduro and others,” Paul said, adding that he’s a harsh critic of Venezuela’s socialism, which “usually leads to impoverishment” – but it’s not “our job” to carry out “unnecessary interventions.”

Venezuelan National Assembly leader Juan Guaidó swore himself in as the country’s ‘interim’ president on Wednesday and declared he would depose the “usurper” Nicolas Maduro, who just started his second term in office after winning elections last year. The Trump administration threw its support behind Guaidó immediately, promising financial help – and not ruling out military aid, should an excuse arise. Most US allies in Europe and South America followed suit, while Russia, China, and NATO member Turkey pledged their support for Maduro's government.

"Television Is The Most Dangerous Addictive Drug In Society"

"People have become so totally obsessed with their own beliefs, opinions and biases that their behavior is going completely unexamined. Their reactions to the latest news item are automatic and predictable. The late iconoclast Terence McKenna pointed out that obsessive and unexamined behavior in pursuit of familiar stimulus (such as what we see with each moment of media outrage) is what drug addiction is about.

McKenna went a step further to say that television was the greatest drug ever introduced into society. What else could persuade people to spend an average of 5-7 hours a day sitting in front of the TV? All the while consuming, in hypnotic states of mind, the scientifically crafted messages of corporate and government propagandists?

Here, McKenna expounds on the idea that television is a drug that is having negative consequences on individuals and on society at large: "Unexamined behavior is what is alarming about drug addiction, that people behave like they are obsessed. Well on that scale, then, the most powerful drug of the late 20th century is television and propaganda. And the way in which we consume propaganda is amazing. I mean the most intelligent of us, the ones who hold ourselves most aloof, are probably junkies through and through when it comes to the media."

He goes on to talk about how being able to see violence on tv has changed the nature of warfare, and that if we are to watch violence, we need to see real footage of it, rather than theatrical violence so that we can understand that we have a responsibility in creating a world in which war and violence is so prevalent.

Here he explains how similar watching television is to consuming a drug: "In fact it is shaping our value systems in ways that are very hard for us to suspect or even detect. I mean television, for example, it's a drug. It has a series of measurable physiological parameters that are as intrinsically its signature as are the parameters of heroin or its signature. You sit someone down in front of a TV set and turn it on. Twenty minutes later come back, sample their blood pressure, their eye movement rate, blood is pooling in their rear end, their breathing takes on a certain quality, the stare reflex sets in. They are thoroughly zoned on a drug."

"What do you think? Is television and mass media making people crazy?"

Will The Real Jim Yong Kim Please Stand

It is purported that World Bank President Jim Yong Kim was born in Seoul, South Korea, immigrated with his family to the U.S. at age five, grew up in the small town of Muscatine, Iowa, graduated Brown University and Harvard Medical School, and was soon on his way through a journey of a lifetime. He made the most incredible connections along the way, was ranked by Forbes as the 45th most powerful person in the world, and was named TIME Magazine’s “100 most influential people in the world.” It’s an inspirational story, until one begins to sift through the grandeur, to find mirrors of illusion that were well put in place. Was Kim really born in South Korea, and what about his sister and brother who are seldom mentioned? What connections catapulted his career moves, and why were his positions vital roles to achieving forward momentum with the 2030 agenda, he and his cohorts have discussed and planned for decades?

Jim Yong Kim was appointed President of the World Bank in 2012 by former President Barack Obama, and could have lost his position in 2017, had President Donald Trump chosen to replace him, but he did not. On January 5, 2019, Jim Yong Kim abruptly announced his resignation, three years prior to his term expiring. Some are reporting that Kim was not forced out by the Trump administration, and that he chose to resign due to differences of opinion on climate change, and feels that he can do more to build infrastructure in the developing world by working in the private sector. Whatever the “real reason” may be, his past needs a closer examination, especially leading up to how and why he retained the position at the World Bank.

Fire at Comet Ping Pong pizza shop was intentionally set, DC fire officials say

WASHINGTON (FOX 5 DC) - Fire officials say a minor fire at D.C. pizzeria that has been a popular target for conspiracy theorists was intentionally set.

The fire was reported on Wednesday around 9:20 p.m. Investigators say curtains and window coverings inside the restaurant caught fire.

They say employees had extinguished the fire before crews arrived.

Investigators are now trying to identify a suspect or suspects who may have set the fire.

In 2016, a conspiracy theory alleging that multiple liberal politicians were running a trafficking ring out of the pizzeria prompted a North Carolina man enter the restaurant fire off an AR-15 multiple times.

Police charged Edgar Maddison Welch of Salisbury, NC with assault with a dangerous weapon.
