We might finally begin to see the monetization of news (advertising revenue) come around to being a loss leader, like it always was with print media.

I'm an old anon, I remember having to watch 6:00 pm news, or buying a newspaper from a reputable news organization to get my fix. Editors were fiercely independent and didn't care about 'views', they did care about subscriptions and daily sales, but not just eyeballs (to sell banner advertising).

Buzzfeed and similar organizations can only attract eyeballs with big bullshit stories. When they are exposed, the eyeballs look for more trusted sources.

CNN is lucky in that it has the airport and hotel market cornered, but the other leftist news and media companies are well and truly rooted.

Goodbye BuzzFeed, back to cat memes and complaining about not being able to get a date because you don't like to shave your armpits.
