Two theories currently from the bible scholars who are looking at it in terms of history and archeology.
First is that the second smaller set of giants comes from Ham's wife who is literally traced all the way down to Goliath of David and Goliath infamy. Have to wonder why that particular giant got his own "begetting paragraphs" tracing him back to Ham and his wife?
Second theory is that after God chose the human line of Abraham to come through, and promised him the land on the east shore of the Mediterranian, that Satan knew exactly where to have another set of evil angels do more breeding for giant half breeds to take over that land so it could not be used to see the prophecies through.
In the book of Numbers, the Hebrew spies come back to Moses talking about how there were giants in the land, and they were like grasshoppers in comparison…
Still don't know which of these theories comes closer to the historical events, but, giants did exist. Some are still live and were often used in traveling circuses.

I was glad about this. I am sure it was something that they looked at, maybe even quantified.
Humanity is mostly good people.
It always felt this way, but it is nice to know that someone who's reading about every communication out there, who has proof of it, indeed says it is so.
Mankind is not perfect.
But, we are good.
It means all the good people have to do is stand up and be loud. It means we have to tell the evil to move aside or be run down while we take care of each other and the children, especially the children.
It means we can make the world better, and shove the bad ones aside, unless they insist we shove them to hell to be with the one they worship.
Man has been doing the eating, drinking, marrying etc every day before Noah and after. The verse might throw people off track, but it is obviously talking about something going on in the "Days of Noah" and not every day.
