I've never seen that patch, but the sloppy looking ones have all the traits of SVR Boarder Guards. They're kind of like their version of Customs and Border Patrol. Possibly. Been a long time and I'm not exactly current on Russian uniforms (so much easier to identify during Soviet Era).

The Spetsnaz unit Vympel ("Banner") is a counter terrorist unit of the SVR (Foreign Intelligence Service). Originally developed in 1981 as an infiltration unit to conduct infiltration, sabotage, and intelligence missions in enemy territory, Vympel subsequently evolved into a Counter Terrorist (CT) unit, and by 1987 the unit had expanded to a staff of over 500. Following the dissolution of the Soviet Union in 1991 the unit was transferred to the Main Administration for the Protection of the Russian Federation (GUO), along with Spetsgruppa "A", and in 1993 the unit was again transferred to MVD control to MVD. After many original members left, Vympel was disbanded and a new unit, Vega, was created, and subsquently the SVR reinstated the name Vympel.

I'm getting the gut feeling we're looking at an internal wet work team here. Each will have a specialty such as weapons, communications, medic, Intel etc.

Pic 1. 81mm mortar rounds

Pic 2. Notice the drug vials on the right side of the table the tv is on. The Soviets LOVED using sodium pentathol as an interrogation aide.

Pic 3. Burned out BMP2 and T-80 tank. Only sold outside Russia to former Republics. Pic is not of a training range, but a battlefield.

Photo date stamps tell me these pics were taken in the Ukraine.

With Ukraine established in my mind as the location and given the date stamps, this is definitely a SPETSNAZ open, but the question remaining is, what fuckery by them are we being pointed to?

My guess is they were taking out Ukrainian militia leadership. They always aim for decapitation of enemy command and control, just like we do.

I think I have the who, what, when and where of the Russian drop. Spetsnaz prisoner snatch squad operating in Ukraine during 2015. Now we need the why.

I'm off to sleep, but will check in the morning for any progress. I'm thinking this dig is notable and needs more. Need a SFanon's eyes on this for guidance.

One of my favorite MAGA inspired wet dreams is that he choose either Ric Flair or Glen Jacobs as his 2020 running mate. Flair for the endless keks, or Kane for intimidation.

The press would be chasing their tails endlessly. Think about it….Flair strips naked on Air Force 1 and runs thru the press section…Flair tells Chucky his shoes cost more than Chucky's house. Flair invites OAC to take a ride on Space Mountain. Woooooo! I'm having a hard time keeping these alligators down!

Trump could take a deuce in the Rose Garden during business hours and no one would notice.
