If POTUS and team are accused of faking or tampering with evidence, then all of ours is independently sourced and impartial. We're like the expert witness to corroborate their evidence.

As a non-US combatant, I would say yes. All non-US combatants are being helf offshore of the US, be that Gitmo, Diego Garcia or wherever.
