• seriously, this is a world wonder/heritage piece. Psycho-pass is the deconstructive analysis of society, law, order, and morality … All in one. It's the embodiment of numerous philosophical debates spanning millennia, the orations of Cicero, the wit of Gulliver's Travels…

It's the only anime I actually want to see made into a live action (with native actors for each language), as I know some people can't wrap their mind around a drawing.

You believe in things like a holy spirit and divine inspiration, yet assume your god would never take time out of his day to teach you a lesson. How do you know I am "real?" Just 1s and 0s injected into a datastream. An extremely implausible anomaly in the noise, just for you.

Or, perhaps I know a few things you don't about the nature of this world and am challenging your understanding of it. Regardless, you're rather boring and disappointing, as your god is really no larger than your own grasp of reality.

The shock will be mitigated by most of it being "this is why this was shut down." Fear and outrage come from a realization that a monster has power and influence over you. Realizing that you were under a monster is not as hard to work around, in many cases.

The real challenge will be for some of the ones most heavily victimized by this… Or, who I consider to be some of the most tragic victims. Consider women of my generation who grew up with media projections insisting men were bad, that they needed to be like men to be valid women, etc. Consider that many of them came from broken homes (no thanks to central banking policies and "welfare"), and may have even suffered abuse by religious organizations, schools, and "the patriarchy" - which saw people loyal to a mafia-like group promoted into control over many walks of life and we know what they like to do to people.

I see them as rather tragic as, in their experience - men are abusive and are the problem. The system has been set up to draw them in and exploit them, while projecting the problem into every corner of society. Those who have had to rationalize "this is just the way men are but this one is leading our campaign to end it" …

Those are the ones who will have the hardest time, I think. Not… In understanding that they were deceived, but in processing a reason/meaning to life afterward.

I imagine there are men caught up in something similar, but they don't have boobs so I am less inclined to pay attention to their plight, I admit. Limited concern resources for this deployed unit.

There are a lot of people who are good, who were working for evil, believing it to have been good (or, survival/necessary)… Who … Will have a hard time believing they are good or still deserve good, afterward.
