Elliott Abrams was a neoconservative who has long advocated an activist US role in the world. He was assistant secretary of state during the Reagan administration and was convicted in 1991 on two misdemeanor counts of withholding information from Congress during the Iran-Contra scandal. He was later pardoned by President George HW Bush.

There seems to be a recurring theme about how some individuals can lie to congress and get away with it, and others cannot. There is a long list: Brennan, Comey, Clinton, everyone associated with Obama. Corsi/Stone are being used to raise the issue.

Abrams may be walking his way back toward Justice.

Wow, I hope some unfortunate Behghazi-like episode doesn't occur to some of our team down there.

I have to admit a while back, when Trump and Bolten had flown into Afghanistan in a darkened plane, I was imagining Trump laughing at Bolton pissing in his pants.
