Wut? Don't you live in a state? State elections are even more rife with corruption than federal. More positions to fill, on the ground contacts between the good ol' boys.
The states are already at a disadvantage for fair and free elections as the counties do not have equal representation through an electoral college type system.
This allows a concentration of political power in population centers which are already burdened with illegal's (25,772,342 of them) and HUD tenants, and welfare bums. The democrat machine in these cities exploits these people, buys or harvests their votes and rules over the hard working productive people in rural areas.
