China is hurting economically right now. Trump's tariffs may have pricked their monster bubbles. Being the world's major manufacturer, they can easily take down the entire world unless someone figures out how to keep the bubbles artificially inflated.
The massive unsustainable debt drowning countries and their populations was never fixed. The problem is much larger now than it was in 2008 when it triggered housing and markets to implode. If that monster bubble pricks, the world could implode.
