Not saying you are wrong about the drug traffic. Two points. Weed has had a bad fire in town that the strong wind made worse and sounds like about half the town was affected. Second Weed gets all of it's water from a spring and that water is pumped directly to each persons home. A company has fought to disconnect the city from the spring so they can sell water a 2,000% profit. That is a very real figure when you consider public water cost to what you pay for a bottle of water at the local gas station. Q research has pointed out the water wars that are going on in CA and sever hedge funds are trying to buy up water rights. With a profit margin like that what other investment is even close. Beaughan Spring[edit]
The town of Weed gets its water from the Beaughan Spring. The water is piped directly to homes.
In September 2016, the New York Times reported French billionaire Pierre Papillaud demanded that Weed give up its Beaughan Spring spring water source so that Papillaud's bottle water company could have more water to sell. Disconnecting from Beaughan Spring would leave Weed without public water.[9]
