If this is true (I HAVE expanded my thinking enough to fully accept it as plausible), why would people croak on the spot? Go into shock over the mere existence of such invisible things? Critters crawling around inside them? Cognitive dissonance shock of a "foreign" reality to the false one they think they know too much to handle? I mean, it weirds me out a little… but "croak?"
