I am in my 60s on social security my wife is diabetic cannot work. we get 1400 a month from social security 160 in food stamps I’m on Medicare and Medicaid my wife is on Medicaid live in California are republicans . California sent me a letter that since I don’t file taxes they are dropping me from there ins as they want my unearned income to pay for my state ins because trump cut off federal funds. yet cities and counties are ramping up there spending on roads because of trumps road and infrastructure money. I read that next year I am going to have to live on beans and rice no longer getting food stamps just bags of rice and beans and I can’t afford to move to another state also I have a bad back from a shady doctor that slipped while working on my back the judge over the law suit said I should be praising the doctor instead of suing that at least I could walk it was doubtful that I would ever walk again after the doctors malpractice I got stuck with 50 thousand in attorneys fees because I lost the judge made me pay the doctors attorneys that wasn’t covered by his insurance the only way I can get out of bed is I have my morphine as that is the only pain med that works I read that I will lose that next year I don’t abuse it I am not addicted every third month I go without for a week to be shore I am not addicted never complained just live with it I had a small nest egg but my shady doctor got some of that and the hospital bills I made trying to fix my back after the doctor messed me up ins wouldn’t touch it I had to pay for myself my bills are higher this year I pay over 3.50 a gallon for gas just a 100 miles away gas is2.80 the California courts say that ok they charge me 3.60 a gallon for propane to heat and cook which isn’t high according to some states but it’s a 1.00 higher than the rest of the state and the California courts say that ok
