This is not what it looks like. The county sheriff does not have any control over children. They only investigate crimes against children. FDCF has all the control. FDCF is a state agency that operates with many contractors (i.e. ChildNet).

The Broward County sheriff is pretty much the de facto county police because most of the municipalities in Broward no longer operate their own police departments. They have extended contracts with the sheriff to provide police services. This is also a very deep political rabbit hole that involves many millions of dollars and a whole lot of corrupt liberals in public office.

He is an Obama supporter. Perhaps he served his purpose and they decided it was time to get rid of him. Very strange article about him on Heavy.com. He is an epidemiologist who was encouraging vaccinations, yet there was an (allegedly) fake news article about him getting ready to blow the whistle on the dangers of vaccines shortly before he disappeared. Its quite possible that they murdered him and disappeared the body.

Don't let appearances deceive you. That governor claims to be conservative and a Republican but he is nothing more than a self-serving criminal who is walking the streets as a free man because of money and corruption. If you dig into him you will find that many years ago he used to the the CEO of the HCA corporation. That corporation got busted by the FBI for stealing many millions of dollars from Medicaid/Medicare. I remember it like yesterday. This was back in the mid 1990s. The feds raided the HCA headquarters and padlocked the doors. After that it was all hush-hush. HCA paid a penalty (which was nothing compared to the amount that they stole), and everybody walked away without any prison time. If this sounds familiar its because its exactly what always happens when these high profile crooks are caught with their hands in the cookie jar. Scott denied any knowledge of the fraud. He was paid off millions of dollars by the HCA board, and walked away from it all with his pockets full of cash.

He's part of the status quo. These people are all criminals.
