[Pelosi] NAPA Valley Wineries & Caves - dig

(11 Zinfandel lane) - Vicinity

------------

--(Note) = This info is for building the the map of connections, (IF) it is relevant. I couldn't help but see some "strange" elements of weird connections in this sauce.

(11 Zinfandel lane) - Across the road (epicenter of suspect wineries):

  • (Temple Spencer Co) --309 Taplin Rd, St Helena, CA 94574

  • aka: Temple Family Vineyards

  • aka: Temple Family Cellars

  • aka: Synagogue - Temple Spencer Co.

  • Associated Family Names:

  • (Charlotte Temple)

  • (Arthur Spencer)

Interesting connection:

  • (Charlotte Temple) is the daughter of the Texas Timber Tycoon (Arthur Temple Sr.) of (Temple Industries - in East Texas).

  • (Temple Industries) was acquired by (Time Inc. - the mag.) in 1973. Thru Corp. mergers & splits it's now (Temple-Inland) a subsidiary of (International Paper).

(Arthur Temple Sr.) was son of the founder of (Temple Industries)

  • He was a lifelong member of St. James Episcopal Church in Texarkana.

  • Wealthy, Connected family.

(Arthur's) daughter:

(Charlotte Temple) of (Temple Spencer Co) - St Helena (Napa Valley) CA.

(Arthur's) grandson:

(Arthur Spencer) of (Temple Spencer Co) - St Helena (Napa Valley) CA.

  • Both appear associated w/ = (Synagogue - Temple Spencer Co)

Seemed strange for (presumably Christian) East Texan owners of that vineyard to house a synagogue on their property. Which appears to be right in the epicenter of all those "suspect" wineries.

And yes, their property has a cave; with another strange twist.

  • News Article mentioning: (Charlotte Temple)

(Beaumont Enterprise - March 6, 2005)

The fruits of burrowing / In Napa Valley caves are more than places to store wine.

(article excerpt)

Charlotte Temple lives near St. Helena, on a dreamy piece of vineyard land that nearly weeps with charm. She has 35 acres of Cabernet Sauvignon grapes that she sells to local wineries.

Her lemon-chiffon-colored cave is in the shape of a Y with two rooms, one at each of the upper branches of the Y. Behind the wooden doors, where the garage begins, Temple can park up to three vehicles. The whole garage is about 1,000 square feet. Another tunnel leads to the back of her house.

  • Y - Shaped? - I'm just reporting what I found.

And digging caves seems to be the big thing these days.

  • 2nd Connection to Texas:

(See - Bacchus Caves) = Cave excavation company.

  • Owner - (David Provost) According to his bio his father sent him to Venezuela to learn cave excavation. Venezuela? Ok.

Coincidentally, (Bacchus) originally located in Napa, California & now in The Woodlands, Texas too. The Woodlands is a very rich area btw. (Bacchus) claims cave excavations "coast to coast" on their website.

-----------

No conclusions at this time. Just found coincidental connections to current issues & events odd. Relevance, if any - tbd.
