To POTUS and Q,

I offer zero support to the idea of trying to reach a deal on the wall that includes amnesty, or even extensions for DACA. Not now. Not in the future for some bigger immigration deal as POTUS has recently suggested.

I used to be a Northeast fiscal conservative/social liberal. No more. Not after being schooled by so many anons over the past three years on the various criminal aspects of immigration.

Since POTUS' direct address to the public about the emergency at the border, the communication of the situation has been pitiful. More facts are needed and should be repeated over and over by POTUS and the Repubs that appear on news shows. Instead we get a number here and a number there. What percent of heroin in USA comes over southern border each year? What percent of fentanyl? Other drugs? How many known criminals? Terrorists? (declassify that number). How many deported criminals return multiple times? How many crimes are committed by illegals each year? Use percentages where applicable?

Sound too specific? Too dull? Not enough reality show drama? Guess what? As many, if not more people watched Dragnet than reality shows. Just the facts M'am. You'd be surprised how many fiscal conservative/social liberals can think for themselves when given the actual facts, how quickly they can DISCERN that a supposedly socially liberal cause is not liberal at all.

NO DEALS! Turning on your base and making an amnesty deal is pure swamp behavior. don't even think of giving us the "there was no other way" excuse. Any plan for the non-criminal illegals in the country requires a long, very public debate, not a closed door negotiation by a few power brokers. NOT interested in what Jared and Ivanka think or want if they are pushing this. POTUS has said he works for the public, not special interests, or family interests. If amnesty, or any other deal is in the public interest, that requires a lot of explaining and public expression of support through an election.
