Most folks in my circle that are Republicans and obviously voted Trump say they did so for the Supreme Court nominees. Other stuff too but they, publically, will tell anyone this when asked. Easier to defend etc. however I think there is a lot of truth at that level. Once rbg is replaced he will have to work double time to keep his base since that sentiment is fulfilled. He’s accomplished a lot but history of today is all that matters to most in these news cycles. The wall and arrests will have to happen or he’s not going to win 2020 and we can throw four years of success and slowly wiping out the left out the window. Four years after that we’ll be socialist. Guaranteed.
